MORDOVIA IS IN THE TOP-10 REGIONS IN THE RUSSIAN NATIONAL RATING OF TRANSPARENCY IN PROCUREMENT PROCEDURES
December 9, 2014 the rewarding ceremony on the results of “The National rating of transparency in procurement procedures 2014” took place in Moscow. By estimate of independent experts, for the second year Mordovia is one of the leading regions in the "Guaranteed transparency” category.
In 2014, the rating was made up considering the provisions of the new legislation on the contract system. There were analyzed more than 2.5 million procurement procedures with the total amount of about 6.7 trillion rubles.
The total number of participants of the Transparency Rating – 2014 is amounted to 420, including the 77 largest state buyers at the Federal level, 83 regions of the Russian Federation, 85 largest municipalities, 70 largest customers on the Federal law 223-FZ and 105 largest Russian companies in the corporate sector.
“The National rating of transparency in procurement procedures 2014” is the first Russian independent project, carrying out economic and legal analysis of the current practices of procurements by the major governmental and corporate structures. The rating has been held since 2006. It is a significant event for all Russian regions, as well as an indicator of the quality of their social and economic development.
